家庭影院系統是要家庭環境中搭建的一個接近影院效果的可欣賞電影享受音樂的系統。家庭影院系統可讓家庭用戶在家欣賞環繞影院效果的影碟片、聆聽級別音響帶來的音樂、并且支持卡拉OK娛樂。一般來說，一套家庭影院需要3個部分：信號源、功放及終端。
